PUSHING BOUNDARIES : Biifore

"Biifore" is HEI's battery performance diagnostic solution that, within 1 minute after charging is complete, displays the battery's current health status and the relative battery management level compared to the vehicle group on the user's phone at a glance.

It also provides future battery performance predictions based on accumulated battery information, displays past charging records, and even includes a nearby charging station search feature.

In the event of a sudden deterioration in the battery, it notifies users and business partners to prevent accidents through proactive measures. Install the app and optimize the management of your vehicle's battery! (For now, serviceable in Korea)

HOW IT WORKS

HEI's technology is aimed at measuring the State of Health (SOH) or degree of deterioration of batteries. Initially, we collect charging data, including variations in voltage and current observed during the charging process, from users.

Subtle fluctuations in charging current result from the interaction between the power source (charger) and the electrochemical reactions within the battery system, representing the individual characteristics of the battery system's electrochemical reactions. Using our patented technology with generalized fluctuation-dissipation theorem analysis, we parameterize the characteristics of electrical and chemical reactions during the vehicle's charging process.

By continuously tracking these parameter changes, we can accurately calculate the SOH of the battery. Biifore offers versatile and scalable analysis. The battery status of each vehicle is monitored by tracking parameter changes over accumulated charging capacity, allowing us to optimize the SOH parameter weights for different vehicle groups by building a large-scale charging data set. Our modeling accuracy improves with an increase in vehicle group data, and most importantly, it can effectively capture warning signals for potential risks, including fire hazards and sudden drop of battery performance.
